Celtics - Jazz

Brad Stevens get his favorite Player and Gordon Hayward loves to play for his old Coach from Butler.

Celtics get: Gordon Hayward and Chris Johnson

Jazz get: Avery Bradley james Young and Jonas Jerebko + 2016 Mavs Pick and 2016 Celtics Pick

I think it is a fair deal. Celtics get a Star - future all star - and the Jazz get a great return and nice Draft Picks.

Celtics never pass. They would love to get him. 2 years ago we are close to get him in a trade. no its time.

The Jazz pass. They're #8 in the west currently without Exum this year. They have a very good young core of players. No need for them to blow it up unless it's for an unbelievable package. Bradley, a bench player, and a D-League player and 2 mid 1sts isn't that offer that will make them give up Hayward.

1. They are nowhere in the west. 2.If they make the Play Offs, they get sweept in the first round 3. Avery Bradley is a great Player. He can help the Jazz in a lot of ways. 4. James Young is only 19, he as unlimited Potential!

Hahgaha 1pt and 1rebound = unlimited potential now? Riiiiight

Bradley isn't a good passer. He isn't a good rebounder. He isn't a good shooter. He's good at defense. Fail to see that as a GREAT player. Hayward is an all around player. He is a leader. The Jazz loudly say no.

Bradley is quick, defense monster, team player, great contract, good dunker and what you will never understand: he is getting better every season. he makes a lot of things you can't read of the scoreboard. And if you don't think JYoung has high potential, you never see him play. I saw him in Maine a few weeks ago, and i see a fantastic player!

A good dunker doesn't mean crap. In that case zach lavine is best sg in the leauge right?

What does being a good dunker matter? He has been the same player the past 3 years with no real changes. You can expect good defense. 14-15pts 2-3 boards and 1-2 assists. That isn't earth shattering. He isn't a franchise player. He is a good complimentary player. Listen, he is undersized, he isn't an elite shooter, he doesn't distribute well, doesn't rebound well. He may dunk good, but what in he world does that matter? He's good at defense but be real here. Dude has been in the league for 6 years and made one 2nd defensive team like 3 years back. Far from MONSTER. He's a good player, no where near the beast you claim.

James young is actually 20, career averages of 2 points and 1 rebound and your opinion that he is amazing is based off watching him in the d league? THE D LEAGUE. Well hell, Seth curry must be the mvp in the real professional league based on that.

Hayward has more production and worth than all the assets listed combined. You seem to forget, it's better to have all that in one person than spread throughout a few. Why would the Jazz give up their leader for what, two mid draft picks, a complimentary starter and a career d leaguer? For some cool dunks? Ridiculous.

Haha quit hitting believable on your own trade and replies Harry. It's absurd that you have 11 believable votes on your original post.

So you saw Young in Maine and he was fantastic. In the D-League.

its funny how people think hayward is an underrate player. bradley is good in defense, but he has no ability to create offense, as well as james young. even offering evan turner and bradley, Jazz will still pass because they still have dante exum.

Pizza. no words - like all you say its just bull. You never see a Celtic game or practice if you don't know what i say. I remember when i say Jae Crowder is a steal in the Rondo trade, all here jump on me. rest is history! James Young has they same. maybe more talent. that's a fact.

The real issue on James Young here isn't his talent or potential. If you're including him in a trade to the Jazz the real issue is that you're assuming Young is better (or will be better) than Rodney Hood. I don't see the Jazz thinking that way.

I think the only way the Celts get Hayward is with their Nets pick (currently 3) because I think that's the only thing the Jazz would ask for. Proven borderline All-Star for a super high pick, and I don't think the Celts say yes to that. I just don't see Hayward to the Celts happening this year.
