phi - lal trade

phi - okafor, marshall
lal - russ, kelly, sacre

both teams correct their draft day mistake and both players are in a system that is more conducive to their style of play.

philly also trades a pick to charlotte for zeller

remaining season lineup
pg - russ 6'5
sg - nik 6'6
sf - cov 6'8 or thompson 6'7
pf - zelller 7'0
c - noel 6'11

bench has size and a stretch 4 with good range in kelly and ish now comes off the bench. much better role for him.

offseason moves: if the team (76ers) get the #1 pick, trade it and joel to the pacers for pg13. if not, then draft ingram and other wing players like the kid from cal brown, one of the kids from fsu and the foreign kid from kansas

lineup with pg lineup without pg

russ russ
nik nik
pg ingram
zell zell
noel noel

either way, each lineup is 6'5+.

Why does the size of the lineup matter? Just curious.

The size of the players could be our advantage defensively because of the length of the players playing in passing lanes and closing out on shooters. Offensively their length could cause problems in regards to mismatches and playing above the rim.

Why was drafting OK4 by the Sixers a mistake? Towns and Russell were gone and Zinger's good wouldn't even talk to them. Hezonja hasn't been that great, Mudiay hasn't been that great, WCS.

He was the best player at that spot that was draftable. He's playing really well for the Sixers, scoring much more efficiently and his D has improved (as per some) . I wanted Russell for the Sixers but it was the Lakers that created this situation, not the Sixers.
