Honestly, trading Ibaka for cousins doesn't make sense to me. If okc wants to try to land cousins, they NEED Ibaka to go alongside him to stretch the floor and protect the rim.

The problem: they probably don't have the assets to land cousins, even with Ibaka in the trade probably.

Yeah I completely agree on the Ibaka front. honestly a 3, 4, 5 of Gay KD and Cousins would be a huge defensive liability. They could possibly use Gay to run the Second Unit and pair Cousins with collison or Adams but the stretch is an Issue. with cousins at the 5 Ibaka would be perfect.

Kanter, Waiters, Adams, and Payne for Cousins and Belineli

4 Young promising players for Cousins essentially and Belly to make the money work.

I like it. Ibaka doesn't protect the rim anymore. Plus that opens tons of mo ey up to max out westbrook KD if they are willing to take a max deal fron the thunder.
