Here are my top 5 trades for Russell Westbrook in no order.

#1 OKC/ LAL

Thunder - Ingram Randle, Mozgov.

Lakers - Westbrook, Ilyasova.

Thunder add 2 great prospects, while losing another star hurts i don't believe he will stay and this is a great return while Mozgovs salary hurts no one will sign with OKC anyway. Lakers land a bona-fide stud and dump salary.

#2 OKC/ Bos

Thunder - Brown, 2018 Nets (unprotected) and Celtics (top 5 protected) picks, Smart.

Lakers - Westbrook, Mcgary.

Thunder get a great return, while Bostons team of Thomas/ Westbrook/ Crowder/ Johnson/ Horford 6th - Bradley. Is extremely competitive.

#3 OKC/ PHX/ PHI

Thunder - Chriss, Warren, 2017 and 2018 1st (both lottery protected)

Suns - Westbrook, Noel or Okafor, Covington.

76ers - Bledsoe.

Thunder add two guys I'm extremely high on in Chriss and Warren plus 2 picks is a solid return Suns land a top 5 player and improve depth. 76ers land a great point guard while movingthe logjam at center.

#4 OKC/ MIN

Thunder - Dunn, Lavine

Wolves - Westbrook, Ilyasova.

Thunder once again blow up and land to vreat prospects. The wolves form a big three and add a starting 4. plus vets wanting a ring will see this is one of the only teams that might be able to beat GS in the next 5 years.

#5 OKC/ DEN/ LAL

Thunder get Harris, Jokic, Deng, Mozgov. Nuggets 2017 and 2018 1st (both top 8 protected)

Thunder give Westbrook, Kanter, Mcgary.

3
Nuggets get Ingram, Randle, Mcgary.

Nuggets give Harris, Jokic, Gallo, 2 1st.

Lakers get Westbrook, Kanter, Chandler

Lakers give Ingram, Randle, Deng.

This last one might be my favorite, the thunder completely blow it up and improve the rosters depth, the Nuggets land a potential stud in Ingram while improving frontcourt depth. Heres the roster.

Muiday/ Nelson
Murray/ Barton/ Beasley
Ingram/ Gallo
Randle/ Hernagomez
Nurkic/ Mcgary

Defense is a weakness but if Murray and Randle can become decent team defenders that shouldn't be a big problem. The reason the Lakers do it is simple they get s hometown kid while adding 3 starters.

Westbrook
Russell
Chandler
Nance
Kanter

with plenty of cap space chasing Griffen and Hayward seems logical think of that lineup with Griffen starting at the 4.

Anyway those are my best ideas which one are the best and worst?

There's a popular Minnesota forum site upon which fans showing their distaste for a Dunn Lavine for westbrook trade are advocating the whipping of batteries at both Westbrook and owner Glenn Taylor whenever engaged in a public forum, should said trade occur.
Twelve years of bad basketball have really turned this fan base rabid.

That Wolves trade probably isn't enough for Westbrook, but its also the most I see the Wolves really giving up.

Also I'm not sure how well Westbrook would do off the ball with Wiggins. Off the ball, Westbrook would have the same issue as the Wolves getting Butler. A starting lineup with Rubio, Westbrook, and Wiggins would not be a good 3 pt shooting team.

3 point shooting don't win games.

What are you talking about True GM, 3 point shooting absolutely wins games. Look at the teams at the top of the NBA the last 10 years. Not all shot a ton of 3's, but almost all of them were good 3 point % teams.

The Lakers just got mozgov, they can't trade him until i believe december.

These are at the deadline.

I see the Lakers somhow pulling a trade off for Westbrook using Randle and Russell (which makes me sick) as the main pieces with draft picks being added.

The rest of these to me are unrealistic since I don't believe the teams could resign him due to either the current state of the team or the location of the team marketwise.

Yeah but look at golden state all those threes didn't go in on the finals so close shots is just as affective. Saying you don't need to be a good 3 point shooting team to.
