This trade definitely seems crazy, but it would make since for it to be agreed on by all the teams involved. This deal would be great for the Celtics because they would become title contenders with a big 3 of Westbrook, Horford, and Gay plus plenty of role players. It may seem like Boston is giving up too much, but that's sometimes what you need to do for superstars. Also, I think that Westbrook would resign with the Celtics after the 2016-17 season because of the quality team they'd have. This would also be helpful for the Thunder because not only would they be receiving replacements for KD and Westo, but they would also get a first round pick for 2017. This would help OKC form a great young team for the future. Lastly, this is probably the best trade that the Kings would be able to do to get rid of Rudy Gay. They would get a first rounder to help their youthfulness and a quality big man which could cause Cousins to be available. That's why this trade should happen.

Russell Westbrook has stated He will play in LA. Stop thinking or posting him going to resign elsewhere it WILL NOT happen. Trade is way to complicated and imo is unrealistic.

@jvoug Hmmm do you not remember that the Thunder gave up Serge Ibaka to receive Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova, and Domantas Sabonis? LOL talk about never.
