If the Cs were willing to give that much for Butler, this trade would have happened on Draft night.

Knicks say no the only eye popping item we get in return for melo is that draft pick and if it's bostons it's useless.

The Bulls want to win now. C Anthony is older than Butler, but he's a better fit than J Butler. C Anthony would be playing for the first time with a real passing PG and D Wade would give him the space, so he can shoot.

That draft pick, would be verry usefull for them. The Bulls and Memphis both have a small windwow, they're good, but they have aging players. They could have two lotery picks in the 2019 draft, so they could rebuilt verry fast.

Brown was the third pick in the draft and smart is a good off the bench guard. Anthony doesn't deserve an eye popping return anymore. You literally picked the least valuable asset that would go to NY and said it was eye popping.

Disagree that anthony is a better fit as well. Even if he was though, wade is at the tail end of his career while butler is still, on the ride. It's still butler's team. Wade wouldn't be in Chicago if they didn't think he could play with butler.

Brown was way over drafted and likely will end up the drafts bust. Smart has shown nothing but being a mediocre back up pg. the pick could be awful if it's the late 1st

And your evaluation on Melo is foolish. Explain how a top 5 sf doesn't get that return? People don't trade based off the remaining career. It's the remaining contract. Few years locked up with top flight production. Yeah. he is worth a hell of a lot more than a late first, a failing prospect and a likely major bust.

Don't like it. Don't agree. Awesome. Knicks rather keep him than get that awfulness.
