PHI trade: Okafor,
PHI get: Jones, NO 2018 First


NO get's a veteran point guard that takes the ball out of Davis' hand and will lead the offence on this team. plus getting another offensive treat to help Davis. Davis and okafor will work well together as Davis has rim protection which Okafor lacks. This trade needs to be made so that davis does not get unhappy that the franchise is not doing anything to help him

MIN gets a nice vet to come off the bench in Evans to can help lead the second to and make a stronger push for a playoff run. plus they also get a big man in which they have been strongly looking for, although Asik isn't amazing, he still does a solid job. Plus this trade opens up the starting point guard spot for Kris Dunn

PHI finally get rid of a center which helps solve there problem down low. With the emergence of Holmes as a solid backup C, Okafor was getting even less time in Philli and needed to be traded. They have been after Jones for quite some time now and he can held lead the offence on their team, they think he can be a very solid player. plus cashing in on NO pick which could be anywhere from 5-20. so it could have some Value.

This Trade has upside for all 3 teams.

How is Minnesota looking for a big? They just signed Dieng to a long term deal and they have plenty of depth in the front court.

Tibs has come out Publicly saying he is looking for a big man because he isn't happy with who he has there right now

and yes Boy Howdie i know how it looks, i don't rate Jones that much either but Phili reportibly want him, and they haven't managed to find anything because Okafor didn't have much trade value because of problems off the court. So this is could somewhat of an acceptable return for them. i woud still say no if i was Phili though but it could be the best they could get.
