A few trades SAC could make to really start to turn this rebuild around because this current team with Cousins is going nowhere.

I think philly will pass on affalo. Not that he's a bad player. He's just a bit overpaid for what philly would need him to do. He might be a back up or he might not play next year at all.

I mean for a second round pick it's tempting just to improve the talent level of the team but philly is in rebuild mode and a vet like affalo would just steal minutes from guys were not sure of. This is also why I'm not a Big fan of signing vets. Yeah the idea is great but how much do they really help a Losing team?

yep. That's the plan. And not waste cap space on useless player. Affalo is a 12.5 million cap hit for next season for a guy who won't even help us win. Just like he's not helping the Kings win. Sorry vets for the sake of vets make you the Knicks. A team destined for a lovely first round exit. Congrats. And your stuck with that result for the next four year. Enjoy mediocrity pizza. Because that is what the knick are and will be for the next four years. I personally don't want that result with a bunch of old guys.

As for the sixers we have a top pick this year regardless of affalo. We draft one of Jackson fultz Tatum or ball. Or grab two of those four with the lakers pick. Then slowly bring them together. Next year we probably won't win unless we sign a star. But I like that future over the knick first round exit.
