It seems like it also sets up a possible move to get Okafor. They've got 3 2017 firsts, they can add one and a piece (crabbe, Leonard) for Okafor.

Yea Portland did! Nurkic has potential to be a good starter and a first this year for a reserve and a second. Crazy don't know why Nuggets did this for this.

I'm confused why Nuggets actually did this trade. Plumlee is almost 5 years older than Nurkic and about to be a FA. He is a better player but not enough so imo to add the Grizzlies pick. Looks like a steal for Portland, I think Nurkic can be a solid enforcer in the middle for them and I think will benefit from more consistent minutes.
