Phoenix-Atlanta-Philadelphia

Phoenix get Okafor (PHI)

Atlanta get Tucker (PHO)

Philadelphia get Splitter (ATL, he's injured so philly can shut him down for the season and let his contract expire while getting closer to the salary floor), 2018 MIA 1st (PHO), and 2017 2nds from MIA and BKN (owned by ATL)

2018 Miami pick is a bit of a wildcard since they could be sellers or buyers between then and significantly change their fortune. I think Phoenix would be smart to put minimally a top 5 protection on it especially since 76ers are getting two early 2nd rounders anyway. Otherwise I like it for Phx. ATL is paying a bit of a premium for Tucker imo since both BKN and Miami's 2nds should be early in the second making them practically more valuable than a late first due to the non-guarantee status. They should probably only be giving up 1 and change the other to their own 2018 2nd.

For Sixers I think its a solid return on Okafor. The situation is getting a bit out of control and I think they need to deal him and for what he has been rumored to go for I think this isn't a bad deal. Although the 2018 draft is big man heavy they can hopefully find one that better fits their roster. The early 2nd rounder in this years draft could also help them add bench depth on the wing cheaply.

The reason why I chose the 2018 Miami 1st was b/ c it was already top 7 protected and the Suns 1st this year is too valuable.

It's a good trade on paper, but Phoenix already has a lot of bugs. Chandler, Len, Chriss, and bender. That would just logjam them like the sixers are now.

I's a a logg jam, but they should let Len walk and Chandler is aging.
Okafor-Bender-Chriss can become good.

Suns say no. they're not giving up a first rounder for a guy who only averages 11 points in a league that plays no def. By trading okafor, rather than noel they risk losing both since noel is a free agent, yet they still keep pushing okafor on the trade market. what's that tell you?
