The Bulls should rebuild at the deadline, but that may not end up happening.

Bulls get: Lou Williams

Lakers get: Nikola Mirotic, Isaiah Canaan, 2018 1st

Only solid piece the Lakers care about is the future 1st rounder, but Mirotic's contract is needed for the trade to happen.

With Bulls uncertain about whether they want to keep Butler or not I think it would be beyond foolish for them to deal their 2018 pick.

I think Bulls should wait until the offseason to rebuild after seeing if they can convince any FAs to come. If Wade opts out they'll have over 50mill in cap space to play with plus mle on top of that. Its unlikely but they could put together a reasonable team around Butler in the offseason. Otherwise they probably should attempt to trade him to Boston and shouldn't consider guys like Williams.
