Phx gets Knight off the books and figure a change may help Hill out.

NOP adds another UK player and get a cheap option at wing.

The value isn't there for the Suns to take this deal. Hill's contract is arguably one of the worst in the NBA (behind Noah's), so the Suns do not benefit from getting rid of Knight's contract. Jones is a rental, and Pondexter will only get waived.
