Embiid out for the year. The Sixers should purposefully lose every game left in the schedule and try to get the #2 pick. Then hope the Lakers pick falls to #4.

It'll be hard to move down in the standings as most teams at the bottom aren't exactly trying to win games either. Luckily due to the NBA lottery 76ers don't have to have second worst record to get 2nd pick. They also have over a 50% chance of getting Lakers pick even if they finish with the 3rd worst record.

I always hear "try to lose purposely", and it's ridiculous. This isn't the movie Major League where guys get fined for good play. Pro players have some semblance of pride, they're not going to tank games.

I feel covington and andersons strengths and weaknesses are too similar for philly to keep both.

I don't really see a spot for Anderson. I haven't been impressed so far with any part of his game.
