On the surface doesn't appear like it would be enough to get George although I'm not sure what his market will be like since with talks of him going to Lakers in FA may turn other teams off also, depending on negotiations go Pacers could eventually end up in a situation where they are in jeopardy of losing George for nothing and would take the best available offer. Due to this Lakers are at a complete advantage to get him and I think they should certainly explore it, getting his Bird rights gives them the ability to add another max-level player either this summer or next summer (Westbrook, Cousins and other big names would be available) .

I don't like the Pacers chances to resign George so if I were them I'd take the best offer. If Clarkson were swapped for Deng the trade would be a bit more enticing.

I lke this trade for Indy
Deng's contract is only guaranteed for one more year
And the combo Randle-Turner would be good.

While I agree randle and turner would be a good combo, dengs contract is guaranteed for 3 more years after this year. If it was only guaranteed for one more year, it wouldn't be much of a problem.
