Way, way, way too much for Butler. Can't see him coming to Boston. Both Ainge and the Chicago front office are too tough to deal with.

No no no that is way too much for Jimmy Butler. Celtics are better off keeping their depth and building through draft, maybe signing someone like J. Green from memphis with cap space.

I don't think that is way too much for Butler especially after watching his play against them in the past series, if anything I'd argue that isn't enough to convince the Bulls to deal him. Their performance in the postseason prior to Rondo injury will likely have them thinking way too optimistically.

Not a fan of signing Millsap either. That Millsap and Horford front court has already proven to be uneffective vs. Lebron since both are about his size. They'd also be committing a lot of money to guys on wrong side of 30. I think they should move Horford to pf and get a more natural center who can rebound.

LMAO. J Green.

I can see Butler coming here. More now than before, PG is not coming here, Melo hopefully is going to the Clippers and Butler is a more complete player than Crowder.

I see Butler and Drummond wearing green next year at some point.

The value seems right for Butler. The Bulls aren't in a position where they have to trade Butler.

Jaw457 - The Horford-Millsap front court had nothing to do with losing to LeBron. It was the lack of wing defenders. Crowder and Butler, in this scenario, would be gaurding LeBron. The Celtics back court would be much better at every position than the Hawk's backcourt when they lost to the Cavs (Thomas>Teague, Bradley>Korver, Crowder>Bazemore) . Secondly, Horford is a center, not a power forward. People just assume since he is a little undersized that he is playing out of position, when he really isn't. Is he a great rebounder for a center? No, but he makes up for it in floor spacing and passing. If the Celtics has Millsap on their team right now I think they would beat the Cavs in 6 games.

I don't know why anyone would look at Butler's display in that series and have it change their mind on him at all. He was fairly inconsistent, took a lot of dumb shots, and made some outstandingly tough plays where you never thought the ball would drop. That's him to a T, and has been for a while.
