Lakers/ Suns:

If the Suns and Lakers stay at #'s 2 and 3 respectively in the draft, and knowing the Lakers want Lonzo Ball badly, could you see them doing the following, and the Suns accepting:

To LAL - Pick #2

To PHX - Pick #3, D'Angelo Russell

This would guarantee the Lakers Ball (if the C's take Fultz), but is truly a gamble that Ball is a superstar in the NBA.

The Suns already have Bledsoe and Knight, but they have tried to, and will continue to shop one or both. Would adding Russell to play a Manu type roll, and still getting to draft Jackson, who may be better than Ball a move that they feel they would need to make?

NBA, the Suns hold all the cards Lakers want Lonzo and Lonzo would love to play for his home team so if anything Suns could ask for more because if either way they can keep him and trade their other pg's or trade him to other teams with assets.

Why would Lakers do this? even if Lakers 3rd why would suns want ball they have 3 guards already.

The reason they would want Ball is that they have looked at trading both Knight and Bledsoe for a while.
