It makes sense for everyone. This team could be competitive enough to attract other stars and they'll have the capspace and flexibility to add them. The Bulls get a solid return for Butler. The Kings get a solid return for a player that isn't useful in their situation and their unusable cap space.

Deng's contract is guaranteed for $54 million dollars over the next three years. The HOU pick (#28) and a future second isn't nearly enough to turn that contract into cap space.
