Boston: M Turner
Indy: IT

Boston is looking for a young big
and Boston fans want to trade I Thomas before he becomes a free agent. So they can draft Fullz

Indy receive a second star and becomes a challenger for Cleveland. And if we fail, we can start tanking in the 2019 season.

Hmm. i'm interested what everyone else thinks about this. I am a C's fan so losing IT, we would have to get something special. Turner does have a big upside. I haven't thought about this as an option but i actually like it. If Boston decides to build a bit longer Turner wouldn't be bad i just feel that boston might need a bit more. may a 2018 1st and maybe another player. but with boston sending Clippers 2019 1st if they end up tanking? With IT and George that 2018 pick would be low 20s and the 2019 pick would help if they decide to rebuild.

If IT and the Celtics win game 7 tonight, there is no way the C's trade IT. He has already proven himself to be a max contract during these playoffs. My guess is that they keep him aND try to ad a second scorer.

Without Thomas, they're a lottery team unless that draft pick can come in and be close to an allstar. Which is pretty unrealistic. If they do this, they should get rid of Horford and maybe Bradley and Crowder.

IT is worth a max contract, but if Celtics fans want to trade him, we love to take him.

Tomorrow night will paint a broader picture of what might happen on draft night and the summer.

Turner will definitely make it easier for the C's to make a bigger deal, whether it's FA signing of Hayward or a trade for someone else. If they sign Hayward then they have to make trades because they'll have to pay AB or let him walk and letting him walk will hurt on defense that will show.

If C's get Fultz they are not going to trade him unless it's for someone big and under control for at least 3 years.

Tomorrow will be the day we'll know more for sure.

Yumbo, that's the point. He has proven to be a max player, but with the ability to draft Fultz this year possibly, do you want to give IT $30M? Imagine if you move him for Turner, add Fultz, and keep cap flexibility next year.

Are you that confident that Fultz can walk in and start on day 1? Thomas is a top 20 player, he just lead his team to the #1 seed. I think it would be a huge mistake to let go of him. i'd trade the #1 pick for an established player over trading Thomas.

And yeah, i would pay Thomas 30 million, he's worth it.

The beauty of Fultz is that he can play alongside IT. The bigger issue will be if they wind up with someone like Ball or Fox. Those guys are strictly PGs, and it would be tough for them to share a backcourt with IT. Because the dream is still Fultz (or Jackson as a backup plan), I don't think there's many that WANT to trade IT. As much as I love him, and as fantastic as he's played, I think the plan would be to move Bradley.

As for bringing in Turner, I'd be ALL for it. I love the kid. He really didn't impress me his oen year at Texas, but he's completely proven me wrong.

Triangle O, in that scenario, the. Celtics take a huge step back, because it will take Fultz at least a few years to get to IT's level. Unless of course he's the next Bird, Magic or Michael. and no one thinks that. IT is worth the money a will get it. in Boston.
