OKC gets:

Plumlee

NY gets:
Kanter
Singler
Sabonis
OKC first

NY pairs Porzingis with Sabonis and keep Kanter as a super-sub. This helps give direction to the team and build around Porzingis.

OKC gets a secondary scorer for Russ. Let Roberson walk. Next, they target Mirotic in FA if possible. Would provide a stretch 4 and bring out the best in Mirotic. Offer Mid-Level to Taj to keep him around. He can play the Kanter role but bring toughness, defense that Kanter never could. Finally, target a backup point guard. Thunder return to relevance. Maybe not a contender, but worth watching.

I don't think people get that Melo could be had for a second of a team had the space, Kanter for Melo seems fair until Melo uses the no-trade clause.

Solid trade for OKC, but they can't sign Mirotic because they are 8M over the cap both before and after that trade. Nevertheless, they can sign both Gibson with MLE and a solid backup Pg with vet. Min.

Also they should resign Roberson over the cap (he is restricted Fa)
because they don't have clearly anybody in the frontcourt positions so they should probably start Carmelo at 4 and Roberson at 3.Melo and Oladipo would thrive in as number 2 and 3 offensive options respectively.

All the thunder would have to do is put singler for melo and it would work bc Jackson will give Anthony up for almost nothing and maybe add kanter to the trade to release some cap space.
