NOLA get: Brown, Crowder and Smart + 3rd Pick, 18 Nets Pick and 18 LA Pick / 19 SAC Pick

Free Agency: Sign Hayward

IT- Avery - Hayward- Al - Davis

Bench: Rozier, Zizic, Yabusele + some vets and this years 2nd rounder.

People need to understand Celtics financial situation. If they renounce all their FA and waive guys like Zeller and Mickey on non-guaranteed deals they get just shy of being able to give Hayward the max. Thus in order for them to be able to add Davis too they must match his almost 24 mill contract with their outgoing salaries.

This particular trade is close salary wise but I think they make it if you consider they aren't keeping the #3 draft pick (so don't have its cap hold) .

My only concern with Pelicans trading Davis is that it would likely mean they'd have to trade Cousins too since I don't think he'd resign to a Davis-less Pelicans team with a bunch of younger guys. I think this factor makes them not deal Davis since they wouldn't get fair value on Cousins with him in final year of his contract.

AD is not coming to the Celtics! Wait-trade idea- AD for IT, Bradley Crowder, Horford and #3 this year and first rounder next year. Deal?

Celtic fans stop thinking AD is going anywhere for at least 3-4 years. and not to mention the number 3 pick isn't close enough. you don't trade a 22 yr old superstar who's locked up long term, wake up.
