That still is terrible though. George and nothing else. They should get George. But don't trade Russell for the ten. That's a waste.

If I were Lakers that offer is close to the best I'd offer. That offer isn't impossible to beat but would be hard for most teams close to contention to surpass. Clarkson has a large contract and Randle's expires after next season so it would be difficult to keep him around anyway.

Don't really see how Russell trade for #10 makes them any better. I'd prefer keeping Russell than getting a rookie who will take some time to develop (Lakers already have plenty of development that needs to take place) .
