Thoughts on this POR-CLE exchange that was mentioned by Colin Cowherd the other day....

POR- Love, Shumpert
CLE- McCollum, Noah Vonleh,pick

Obviously, Cleveland isn't going to compete with GS with its current roster, so why not try this. This could benefit both teams: pairing Nurkic and Love with Lillard and having an elite 2 guard to go against GS.

This trade would be good for Portland, they can get below the cap quicker. But think there are better options to do that.

For Cleveland, they don't need McCollum, nor Vonleh. They'll need picks if they decide to go in a different direction. No GM 2 days before the Draft, CRAZY!

Cleveland will pretty much have to take a different road. If Gilbert is smart he'll trade James to Lakers or Clippers. James might be the best now but he's about to screw the Cavs again. Wouldn't shock me if he tried to worm his way to GS. lol.
