No deal Russell stays pacers get Randle or no deal added the future 2nd round is fine remember lakers can just wait 1 year.

If the price is that low another team will make a deal. No way will the Pacers do that. Randle basically pays for someone taking on Dengs contract. So that means they get the 28th for George. The Pacers have no reason to appease the Lakers or George.

they have to give up russell if they want george via trade. Pacers will get other suitors and if he ends up on a team like Cleveland or Boston, they could make title run and convince him to stay long term for more titles. And Lakers know that, that's why they'll trade anything. If they're going to bank on him coming in a year, why offer anything? If they're going to offer a trade, it'll have to be a trade that's close to what other teams will offer.

Indy would rather just let him walk than take that garbage deal. Deng has negative value, randle has minimal value (and will likely get overpaid next year) .

The lakers can TRY to wait, but how confident are you that he'll sign with the lakers? If he gets traded to Boston, Cleveland, or the Clippers, I don't see any way he goes to the lakers. Indy has much more leverage than laker fans like to think.

Pacers will never take deng and randle as return. Next year they have to pay Randle 20+ million. With deng they pay 40. It's the worst core of the nba. Then they prefer waiting or sending pg for a second rounder to the cavs.
