Cleveland wants Butler and the Suns have been rumored as a good 3rd team fit, so how about this:

Cavs get: Jimmy Butler
Cavs trade: Kevin Love, 2018 1st

Upgrade from Love to Butler, adds perimteter defense and Butler is on contract for two years (as opposed to PG13 for 1 year)

Suns get: Kevin Love
Suns trade: Brandon Knight, TJ Warren, 2018 1st (MIA)

They get some veteran leadership to help Chriss, Bender, Len, and Tatum (whom they draft since they traded Warren) while dumping Knights contract and retaining Bledsoe

Bulls get: Brandon Knight, TJ Warren, 2018 1st (MIA), 2018 1st (CLE)
Bulls trade: Jimmy Butler

This is what I'm unsure of. They get two 1st's next year plus two players under 26 that can help right away. They can draft a center at 16 and have a young core of Knight, Valentine, Warren, Portis, and 16th pick. It's not amazing, but all players that could be good starters. Plus having 3 1st's next year to add to it. But is it enough to justify giving up Butler?

Cavs can't trade the 18. Their first tradable pick is 2031.

Can't trade consecutive 1sts. They have already traded this year and 2019 away. Cavs can't trade a 1st until 2021.

Not enough for Butler, don't think that is even enough for Love although I'm not sure Suns are right team for Love. I'd choose a young team closer to contention such as Nuggets or maybe even the Jazz who have 2 1sts and some young talent Exum and Lyles.

No from Bulls.

If I'm losing a star #4 must be on the deal

TJ Warren is all right but it's a role player at his best
I'm not paying Knight salary. he is not a starter

Bulls want #4 and Chriss or Bender

If PHX gets Love there's not space for both at PF anyway.

That's not enough for two years of butler! That trade would only happen if Brooklyns front office was making the decisions.

Hope Phx doesn't trade for Love. They should keep the pick, they're a young team not too far away from doing something soon!
