Only way something like that goes down is if George makes it 100% clear that he will refuse to sign an extension with any team except LA. Plus, those draft picks are nearly worthless because Lakers figure to be at least halfway decent in 2019-20.

The only team that the Pacers will be able to get a good return from is the Lakers because they know that he will resign with them barring something unforeseen happening so I could see it costing them Randell Clarkson multiple 1sts and possibly some of their picks this year not named Ball.
