Philly gets Austin Rivers
***Shooter, scorer to come off bench and space floor. They have the cap room and could still chase Iguodala if they so choose.

Nets get Wesley Johnson, Kyle Singler, Jahlil Okafor, OKC first rounder
***Nets (for the first time in a long time) will have some cap space to work with. However, they are an odd roster and don't have much to work with. They essentially are forgoing their cap room this season for a future first. Adds future talent while setting themselves up better for a season or two later.

Clips get Enes Kanter
***Kanter is at his best when he can have the ball in the post and be hidden on defense next to a premier 5. Clips can give him both. They need offense off the bench and they have Jordan to hide Kanter on D. They aren't giving up a ton to do so.

Thunder get Jeremy Lin
***Thunder need to get better (very) quickly or they risk losing Westbrook. Making this deal loses them a pick, but they get two great options in exchange. They can fill the void of backup point with Lin, or they can stretch/amnesty him for cap room. They cut about $9.5M in salary even if they keep him. If they cut him, that jumps to about $20M (adding to the rest of the cap space). That would allow them to chase Hayward, Griffin, fill in the blank. OR they could look at adding multiple pieces. Maybe they try to go get Ibaka and Green to play with Russ again? This puts them in a great position to get better.

Reports have been saying Doc refuses to move (or coach hard) his son and that's why Paul wanted out. I don't see them moving him for an over paid, limited pf.

Clips would never do this trade. Austin is the starting sg now. Also, the truth came out about that rumor, cp actually asked for Austin to start and he declined. Only way clips do this trade is if they get okafor and one more.
