Cavs - Knicks - Thunder

Cavs gets
Anthony
O'Quinn
McDermott

Knicks gets:
Kanter
Shumpert
Singler
2022 1st Thunder (Top 10 protected)
2018 2nd Bulls (via Thunder)

Thunder gets:
Love

Cavs trade Love for Anthony to get a better bench with O'Quinn and McDermott. Have Korver playing backup SG to JR and if Wade gets bought out they can let Dwayne run the second unit.

Knicks move on from Melo and let Porzingis be the first option. Getting two picks for Melo is a good return and they get young players that fit their rebuild.

Thunder go All-in and get Love to pair with Westbrook and PG13. Their bench gets a bit worse and they need to make some moves during free agency to complete that.

Except for helping make the money work, there is no reason the Cavs would have to give up Love in a deal for Anthony. If Cleveland wants him, just wait until the Knicks cut him loose.

I don't believe Knicks would buyout Melo. They would rather have him until they find a deal or his contract expire.

Cavs and Knicks both turn that down.
