Knicks get Reggie Jackson, Jon Leur, Shawn Long, 2020 2nd (via Rockets), 2019 2nd (via Pistons), and draft rights to Sergio Llull (via Rockets)

Rockets get Carmelo Anthony

Pistons get Ryan Anderson, Courtney Lee, and rights to Marko Todorovic (via Rockets)

Terrible for the Knicks. They would add 30 million in salary each of the next 3 years for players who don't fit in long term, 2 2nds which could be bought, and a 30 year old euroleage player. They'd be better off buying Melo out or letting him walk.

I believe Rockets would have to give up more than Anderson for salary to work (I know nothing about other two guys or how dealing rights works financially) . I'm personally very low on Reggie Jackson so I think dumping him and Leuer would be a big win for Pistons while adding two solid role players who can shoot lights out.
Not a fan of the Knicks return.
