I think its a solid trade all around. Celtics do have Memphis 2019 pick (top 5 protected) but I don't think its completely necessary to be added. This is realistically the best Knicks could expect for Melo. They aren't taking back much salary (I believe Frye is an expiring contract) and get Ennis as a solid guy who could start for them at sf and a young guard with size to play some sg in Baldwin.

The move is solid for Cavs but Gasol is up there and has had some worrisome foot injuries. I think however he'd add another wrinkle to their game and GS has nobody who could touch him.

For the Grizzlies it isn't greatest return but Love is at least younger than Gasol and would likely be back close to his Twolves production in Memphis. Shumpert also gives them a solid starting caliber player.

Agree Memphis would probably want more but that future cavs 1st could be a gold mine if lebron leaves.
