The Cavs get Anderson, Ariza, and O'quinn
The Knicks get Felder, Shumpert (next year he has a player option that he most likely opts out of looking for a long term deal), Frye (exp), Edy Tavares, 2 Houston firsts, and the Houston non guaranteed contracts
Houston gets Jefferson and Melo
The Cavs bench gets better with Ariza being a better 3 and D option than Shumpert, Anderson being able
to play Frye's role with better defense, and gaining a young big who can block shots in O'quinn
The Knicks get take back almost no salary after next year while adding a decent prospect in Felder and 2 1sts
Houston gets Melo, gets to keep their bench scorer, and gets Jefferson who is still capable of helping a thin bench.

I love the idea behind the trade. Cavs strengthen their bench with 3pt shooting and hustle defense. Knicks rid themselves of Melo. Houston rounds out their Big 3. However, I think giving up 2 first round picks in addition to Anderson and Ariza is too much for Carmelo.

Huge return for Anthony. Knicks clear winners in that deal.

Shizze75, Lebron or no Lebron I'm a Cavs fan. I'm not convinced he's walking after this season, but if he does the team is still a lot better than the late 90s/ early 2000s and when he left the 1st time. I have mixed feelings on Gilbert, but atleast he wants a winner. How's Dolan treating you?

Gilbert only has been successful because of lebron. Don't kid yourself. He's as awful an owner as Dolan.
