76ers say no too. Covington is better than Ariza. Also have other okay backups at sg/ sf with Korkmaz and anderson.
76ers stay put or deal Okafor. There won't happen more.

This deal is terrible for the sixers. Okafor and a 1st rounder for Ariza (decent player, but not the guy sixers need)? doesn't fit timeline of the team. Signing 30+ yrar old vets to short term contracts is one thing, trading first rounders for them is another. No thanks from philly. Very easy decision.
