Cavs - Lakers - Knicks

Cavs gets:
Noah
Deng
Randle
2018 1st Knicks
2019 swap right Knicks
2020 1st Knicks
2020 1st Lakers
2022 1st Knicks
2022 2nd Lakers

Lakers gets:
Love

Knicks gets:
Irving

Knicks and Lakers trade picks for stars and tries to compete this coming season. Moving future 1st's haven't worked well for teams in the past but they take the risk anyway.

Cavs go in full rebuild and gets 4 1st round picks for Irving and Love. The next move would be to move LeBron and get additional picks for the future.

As long as the picks are unprotected, it's not a terrible ide (and I'm a cavs fan) . Perhaps add Brandon Ingram to the deal?

The Cavs could do better for Irving alone. 2 1sts and Randle barely cover taking on Deng and Noah's contracts. That would basically mean 2 1sts, a 2nd, and swap rights for Atlanta since the Cavs don't have that pick for Love and Irving.

Don't like it for Cavs. All those picks may not even be in lottery with Knicks being in the East (Irving and Porzingis would be a solid core and they'd still have Ntilikina and cap space to make more moves) and Lakers potentially adding two max FA next summer. Cavs should be able to find much more attractive trades for Irving and Love. If Cavs do end up tanking I'd consider taking Noah or Deng's contract for a pick or two since Cavs wouldn't be a FA destination again for awhile.

You think Love is worth a 1st, a 2nd, Randle AND ingram?

Jeeze guys, let's stop with the homer values please.
