Theoretically, if the Cavs blow it up.

The Cavs get Noah, Maker, 2 Bucks 1sts, Hernangomez, and a Knicks 1st

The Bucks get Love

The Knicks get Monroe (exp)

2nd trade

The Cavs get Ingram, Deng, and 2 Lakers 1sts

The Lakers get Lebron

3rd trade

The Cavs get Fultz, Saric, Bayless, a 76ers 1st and 2 2nds

The 76ers get Irving

I wouldn't give up Hernangomez and a first just to get rid of Noah for a player like Monroe. Greg is an underachiever in his own right.

I like all the moves for Cavs. The Love return is more than I would expect. Lebron has a no-trade clause so he would be difficult to deal so I'd consider Ingram and picks to compensate taking on Deng's contract a win for Cavs. Similarly the Irving trade would be fantastic if Cavs were rebuilding since Fultz has a similar upside to Irving as an elite scorer and Cavs get compensated for the risk that he doesn't reach those lofty expectations.

If I'm Bucks its close but with Maker starting playoff games at 20 yrs old and showing stretch big and defensive upside the sky is the limit for him and although Love is a good player he doesn't really fit the freakishly long and athletic, positionless and young Bucks team.

If I'm the Knicks I wouldn't give up to essentially just dump Noah's contract either (Monroe isn't going to be a difference maker for them in 1 year) .

The Lakers could opt to take the same approach they took with George and try to just nab James for free in free agency (especially if Cavs are having a firesale since Lebron would probably be selective in which teams he waives his no-trade clause for) . Although they are moving Deng's contract. I think they could likely get away wit giving up just 1 future 1st.

76ers fans are probably torn on the Irving trade but I like it for them. Irving is a sure thing and 76ers need that with the injury scares they've had and limited time their top picks have played. Saric is good but I don't think he'll ever be more than a solid starter and as long as the 76ers pick is decently protected its not that valuable (with Irving 76ers should make playoffs in east regardless) .

Jaw, I think the Bucks need shooting around Giannis and Love is good enough to get them into the next round. Maker has a ton of potential, but isn't going to be more than a role player for the next 3 or 4 years. The picks are probably late and don't have a ton of value. If the Knicks want to get rid of Noah, this wouldn't be a bad option.

If Lebron lists multiple teams the Cavs could get a decent return for him. There are probably 4 or 5 solid landing spots for him and if he oked it, you would have to assume he would resign.

sixers fans aren't torn. This is the same dilemna as the knicks have. When a player demands a trade, there is strongly diminished value.

If you really think that irving demanding a trade now will net you This years clear 1st, saric who was in the running for rookie of the year, bayless, 2 seconds and a 1st that is likely in the lottery. well. you're just nuts.

Amazing how you ranted for months about how players like melo have no value, or george has diminished value because he demands a trade. but irving, you get top dollar for?

Also, i'm not really going to spend much time on this. but love, for a 1st team all rookie big in hermangomez, Maker, 3 1sts. seriously? Yeah you take on noah's contract, but between all 3 players its the same amount of money for less years. Just stop it. It ain't happening.

Hamburger, years matter. Getting rid of Noah would be difficult. The Cavs have most of the league putting in offers for Kyrie. Lots of teams interested = a good return.
Melo has no value because he's only willing to go to two teams, he's 34, he's on the decline, and he's on an expiring contract.

Demanding a trade without a doubt diminishes Irvings value but he is neither an expiring contract saying he wants to go to LA (George's situation) or has a no-trade clause (Melo's situation) making it not quite as impactful. With Irving 25 and signed for two more years rather cheaply he'll have plenty of suitors as teams won't fear a one year rental (George's situation) and Cavs can deal him to whomever they choose not a short list of two teams.

This is definitely on the high side of the offers Cavs would get for Irving especially if they are looking to rebuild and if I were the 76ers it wouldn't be my first offer but if I were them I'd be comfortable giving this up if push came to shove and 76ers wanted to make a serious push into relevance so they could potentially land a top FA next summer. With the Cavs out of the picture after this trade they wouldn't have an insurmountable road to the finals.

I think the 3rd trade might be the closest to work. If the sixers add sth else it might be okay.
The first is bad because they take Noah's contract. Therefore you need the 3 1st rounders alone (especially with an owner who's unwillig to spend) .
Second one the same. You can't get rid of deng for 2 late first rounders in 2020 and 2022 (sixers own the 2018). And James for Ingram is horrible.
