Cavs get Lillard, Aminu, and Crabbe

The Trailblazers get Irving, Shumpert(player opt), Frye(exp), Jefferson(exp), Tavares (2nd year not guaranteed), Felder, and Osman

Portland immediately drop 10 million and long term can drop 30 million. They're currently deep in the luxury and getting deeper after resigning Nurkic. This could help mitigate that problem.

I'm still a Kyrie fan and won't get jaded to much over him but there is no way I would pick Kyrie over Lillard. Lillard can win games but for some reason Kyrie never has been able to. So I doubt Portland would give in and blow up their team but if Portland called Cavs would do it. Portlands not ready to blow it up yet.

That was also Kyrie's first 2 seasons. He had injury problems and a terrible roster. Portland already had Aldridge, Batum, Matthews.

I don't think it changes the fact that they'll be a fringe playoff team in the West, but over the next two years it could save Portland 50 + million when luxury taxes are taken into account.
