Celtics could've benefitted from a big like Dieng however, they have limited moves left and the salary here doesn't work. They are likely going to have to make due with Baynes unless they can net Mcgee or somebody for vet min.

Limited options? They have first round picks coming out the wazoo over the next 5 years. They have plenty of options. Probably enough to go after another really big time star.

Celts would definitely be in the market for a dominant 4/ 5 type (they'll be ready to pounce in the unlikely event Davis becomes available), but as Kermit says they have bigger fish to fry. And with uncertainty over Thomas's hip, Rozier is not being traded.

Not sure why you say we'd be in trouble with Rozier as IT's backup, he really turned a corner in his 2nd year and should only get better. Besides, Smart may be the true backup st the point.
