Celtics trade: Jaylen Brown
Celtics get: Dragen Bender.

If the Celtics wanted Dragen Bender they would have drafted him last year. He has not done anything that has changed their minds that he is better then Brown.

They were interested in Bender during the draft but went with Jaylen Brown because they had a needed more wings and Bender was a bit of a unknown and Brown has high upside but Celtics now have Hayward and Tatum.

If Irving won't commit long term it will greatly diminish the return. Cavs aren't getting that package.
