Raptors get Anderson and rockets draft pick

Knicks get JV, Ariza and two first round picks from the rockets.

That's a huge return for Anthony.

It's a huge return for Anthony and not a ton for Toronto. I'd say both the picks should go to Toronto.

I think, you should drop then 2nd first to NY. The Knicks can probably turn around and trade Ariza for some lesser prospects or a heavily protected pick. If Carmelo holds to only being willing to go to Houston, any return that gets a pick and no bad contracts from them would be something that the Knicks would have to think about accepting. Carmelo is basically not allowing any competition in a trade for him so any positive assets are better than having a pouting Melo on a bad team. If they had a chance to make the playoffs, I would say keep him and let him walk, but keeping him at this point is just going to be bad for an already fragile locker room.

I like it for Toronto. They end up with another asset in the pick and it gives them a versatile veteran pf who can give guys like Lowry and Derozan space. It improves their team in the short term and gives them a little more ammo to improve the roster down the line.

I like this idea. Only change I would make is the Knicks get a first while the raptors get a 1st and a 2nd.

I like this idea

Houston should only give one first round pick and that pick should go to Toronto.

Ariza+ JV is a great return for Melo.

You can also trade Anderson to Toronto and Ariza to Toronto for JV and Powell. This will make the raptors that much better for play offs and hopefully knock out the cavs with Ariza on the wing. yoy lose Powell but I have a feeling will lose him anyways for. More money down the road. Why not trade him for a win now player.
