I don't like it for the Spurs. I think waiting out Aldrige's contract and going after free agents would be better than taking on Kanter, who is a worse player and is on a longer contract. The pick is going to be fairly low, I don't think this helps them in the short or long term.

I don't like it either but i think Pop can make Kanter a better player.
