Cavs perspective:
Think of it as two trades.
Bledsoe and Lee for Irving.
Carmelo and O'Quinn for Love.
Pretty fair deals and LeBron gets two guys who he would love to play with. Is Andrew Wiggins going to keep LeBron in Cleveland? Is LaMarcus Aldridge going to keep LeBron in Cleveland? The Cavs have to act accordingly and bring in guys to please LeBron. In the process, they cut more than $20M off their luxury tax payment.
Pistons perspective:
They need a star to pair up with Drummond. Giving up a decent role guy in Harris, a disappointing lottery pick in Johnson, a backup point in Smith, and a future 1st & 2nd Round Pick for a top 40 player in Kevin Love is a great deal.
Suns perspective:
Bledsoe has been injured year after year for them and he doesn't fit the timeline of the young players on the roster, so it's ideal to move him.
Netting two first round picks, getting rid of Brandon Knight's albatross of a contract, and getting a cheap veteran guard in return with Ish Smith makes for a solid return.
Knicks perspective:
How crazy would it be for the Knicks to turn disgruntled Carmelo Anthony into one of the five best PGs in basketball today? It would cost them. Taking on two bad contracts in Brandon Knight and Iman Shumpert. Trading away a future 1st Round Pick. But it's most definitely worth it. Plus moving aging role players like Lee, O'Quinn, and Thomas for younger, more effective players like Shumpert, Harris, and Johnson makes for a nice haul.

If the Knicks want Irving it's going to cost them a lot more than Anthony -- and Anthony is on record as saying he would turn down any deal that doesn't end up with him in Houston.

He is? On the record means he made a public official statement. So Anthony made a public statement saying he won't accept a trade anywhere but Houston? So weird that no one else saw this statement on the record by Carmelo Anthony.

Odd.
