As an Orlando fan, I don't want to get rid of Gordon. Out of these two options, I like the 2nd one best. Maybe Portland would throw Mo Harkless as well, to help Portland save money.

Wait wait you think Portland would give up more than CJ for Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier. If Portland is adding more than CJ it's either Turner or Leonard not Harkless. Gordon is so overrated he's nothing but potential that it seems like every year Magic fans hopes he breaks out but he's not gonna. At best he's an average starter nothing worth CJ. CJ is a borderline all star and Fournier is only a little better than Crabbe.

I thought that the trade would work because Lillard and McCullum don't really work well together and they need some position flexibility.
