where are those Celtics fans who said this type of trade will not happen? lol.

I think that pick wins it for Cavs but Celtics would be so dangerous now.

Good move for the Cavs. they unloaded a player that wants to be 'the man' and even though not a Celtics fan we'll see how being the man plays in a team concept. Now Thomas and Crowder will experience winning basketball and facing the warriors.

I did not say it wouldn't happen, but I'm not happy it did. I know I'm going to be able to talk myself into Kyrie in green. I usually do. but I hate the cost. I wasn't thrilled with people throwing out IT, Crowder and a late future first! Kyrie is an upgrade over IT, whether it's slight or not, but I really don't think he's an upgrade over that entire crew. Even if Kyrie stays healthy and does his thing, the only way I'm happy about this trade is if Zizic is a rotation guy at best, and that pick winds up outside the top 8 or so.

The other issue with this move, is that Cleveland is better in the long run with Zizic and that pick, while they shouldn't lose too much in the short term with the production Crowder and Thomas will bring. Meanwhile, the Celtics are REALLY thin in the frontcourt now, and I'm not sure they're as good across the board as they were last year.
