Cleveland Cavaliers - Miami Heat fan made trade proposal if the Celtics trade falls apart.

Cleveland trades: Kyrie Irving, Hassan Whiteside and Channing Frye (expiring, match salaries)

Miami trades: Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside.

Why Cleveland should do this:
Cleveland has LeBron, so they should be thinking win now. Forget about future draft picks; it hurts the value of players you receive in a trade.

Dragic is a very underrated point guard, a great replacement for Kyrie. The real coup here though, is Whiteside. He's a guy the Warriors would have no answer for.

Why Miami does this: Kyrie, surprisingly, had Miami on his list of teams he wanted to get traded to. He's the best player in this trade. TT is young and a decent player at the C.

Don't believe either the Celtics or the Cavs want to void the deal. Sounds like the package they got for Kyrie was the best available. Neither Kyrie or IT, could go back to their former teams after this.

Agree to a point Yumbo, I think it puts the Celtics in a worse position though. They now have their best player wanting out and other teams are going to be pretty weary of taking him on with the hip injury and expiring contract. I think the Celtics add one of their own picks ( with the young talent, future picks, and limited roster space it's not a huge lose ) . If this was calculated by the Cavs, wow, I applaud. They have the Celtics in a rough spot. That said, I'm curious how other gms end up feeling about this. The Cavs might win in the short term, but lose in the long term.

I agree with Yumbo and Rkenne. There is no way that this trade should be voided because the Cavs already had other trade discussion and I bet the 2018 Nets pick may of been brought up in specific situations so not having it for the Cavs would be hard. Plus Bostons sold out the seasons tickets I believe so what would Boston say and do. Eventually Bostons hand will be forced and they will give an additional first round pick in the future. Last thing Cavs want is another player, so unless it's Brown or Tatum and Good luck getting them.
