IF Detroit doesn't accept offers like these, & continues to think drummond is a cornerstone player.. they will continue to be stuck in NBA purgatory.

I disagree with one part of your comment Mr Big D. I still think Drummond is a cornerstone piece. He can be a second or third best player on a top 10 team, which is what I'd consider a "cornerstone". Even better, if you build around him, and go youth aside from him, Detroit would be really bad, as he isn't the kid of guy that can carry a team alone, so you have one piece while still building through the draft.

Granted, that's not how Detroit is working, they're building a very average 5-8 seed that will get killed in the playoffs every year. But I don't think trading Drummond is necessary to rebuilding.
