Knicks take on bad contracts while moving on from Melo. Getting two 1st rd picks will help their rebuild.

Pelicans move Hill that is injured, Asik and Ajinca that is just bad contracts for a shooter in Anderson and a starting SF in Ariza.

Rocket finally gets Melo and can now form their big 3. Kuzminskas can try to earn some bench minutes or he gets moves again at the deadline.

Asik and Ajinca is too much garbage for the Knicks to take on just to move Melo and pick up a couple of mid to late first rounders.
