76ers/Celtics

Boston has Horford and Baynes, and that's about it up front. No depth. Through 103 games, Okafor has averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes a game. And he's just 21yrs old. Granted he struggles immensely on D, but if horford is off, in foul trouble, or injured, who scores inside for boston????
Sixers have too many young centers in Embiid, Holmes, and Okafor. Celtics have potentially 4 #1 picks in 2019.

Sixers get: worst of Kings, Grizz, Clips or Celtics 1st rd pick in 2019.
Boston gets: Okafor

Anthony Davis unlikely to be made available, but Celtics need to keep their No. 1s in case the Pelicans panic.
That's not saying Okafor isn't worth a late first, just that the Celtics need to hang on to as many assets as possible for a bigger fish.

If Davis is made available, Okafor could be flipped to NO at the same value as a late first, so I don't think this would hurt Boston at all. I like the trade, and I think Horford is the kind of guy that can mask some of Okafor's issues decently.

I agree with BMiller that Okafor could be the same value as the worst of all those picks, especially if Stevens is able to pull his best from him, and I also agree that they should only send the worst of the picks.

The issue, however, then becomes salary. Okafor is making just under $5 million. Who goes with the pick to make that salary work? You've got four options right now, with Baynes becoming a fifth in December when he's eligible to be traded. Those four guys are Tatum, Morris, Brown and Smart. I don't think Okafor is worth any of them straight up, let alone with a pick involved.
