Suns/Sixers

According to gm's, suns asking price for bledsoe is going to uave to come down considerably. Reports say the Knicks " laughed" at the suns asking of ntlikna and hernangomez for bledsoe. Amd that's not a whole ton of talent. Ntlikna has poyential, and hernangomez iz a nice backup. I think the sixers, with fultz's shoulder injury seeming more serious the initially thought, can put together a package of young players for bledsoe

This package may have not been enough a week ago, but may be now...
SUNS get: Okafor, Luwawa-Cab, Nets 2nd in 2018 and knicks 2nd in 2018 (sixers own both picks. Should both be in the 30-35 range).
SIXERS get: Bledsoe

And since philly is 15mill below the cap, they can take back blesoes 14mill and only send the suns 6.5 mill in return (okafor and luwawa-cab combine salary), clearing more cap space for the rebuilding suns. Actually, luwawa-cab, stauskas, anderson, and McConnell would all be interchangable in this trade.

I think it all depends if they think Okafor can fit their scheme. Unless a team is willing to slow it down atleast in spurts, can Okafor ever be an effective player for them?

Just because the Knicks laughed at the proposed deal, doesn't mean the Suns won't get what they want for Bledsoe. They will definitely get a 1st Rd pick and probably some young players.

id be hesitant to drop bledsoe into the simmons+fultz pg experiment. maybe bleds and simmons can mesh offensively with fultz coming off the bench, but i don't love this for the process.
and i can understand why the knicks turned that down, objectively its a good trade for them, but they obviously aren't trying to win now so bleds doesn’t really make sense for them. plus they are crazy high on ntilikina, they did draft him 8th.

If the Knicks, who are apparently rebuilding, deal one or both of Willy and Frank for Bledsoe, I will lose my mind.
