Raptor need shooters and I hate to say it but Powell isn't a great shooter. Package him and JV and a draft pick. To bring in a starting SF with great range.

How about this raptor and warriors

Raptors get Klay Thompson

Warriors get JV powell and first round pick

There's a few guys who could fit that mold for the Warriors, but I'm not sure if I can think of one who would be able to do what Klay does with the same attitude he does. He is a (probable) star, who's willing to take the 4th man role, and still was able to get his numbers with a reduced role after KD came in. That's rare.

even if gs has decided they aren't bringing klay back when his contracts up in 2019 (which would be a mistake) this trade is still awful. they could so so much more. like soxfan said, klay’s attitude and skill set is truly a rare find.

Sivretsolide, as long as the owners willing to pay heavy luxury tax, they can bring Klay back and this deal is terrible for GS. JV doesn't fit their pace and space offense. They aren't going to wait around for him to lumber down the court and he is a bad defender. He doesn't have much value given the direction the NBA is going. Powell and what would be a late first have little value as well.
