Terrible for Washington. Gortat is still a quality NBA player, Noah is not. Porter is better than THJ, and the first would be in the late teens.

It's not a bad trade, but it looks like NY is going to make the playoffs, so i think it needs more to take Noah's contract.

I disagree Gasupo. that's a BAD trade for Washington. Gortat is an old school center, but he's still a physical force inside, which you need when you're running with guys like Wall and Beal. That pick won't likely be a top 5, which is the very least of what you would need in order to take on Noah's contract, but let's just argue that those two even out. That means you're basically trading Porter and Gortat for Hardaway who's a downgrade from Porter, let alone both of them.
