I thought that Denver was absolutely in love with Murray? Why would they trade him now?

you could say denver needs a primary score but at the same time they are a top 10 offense rn. the trade is fair, but i'd stick with barton+murray. together they give u about the same offensive input as derozan and more defensive ability.

It's a fair trade no doubt, Derozan is a defensive beast, with excellent offensive skills. Toronto is a bit of a dark horse to be an eastern conference finalist, and they are playing well. Can't see them fooling with that now. Derozan is royalty in Toronto too. I think both teams are unlikely to make any deadline deals. Denver has a deep roster. They are going to be tough in the second half of the season. Trey Lyles has been playing great since Milsap injury. Milsap will be ready by playoffs too.
