Switch Crowder with Smith, the Brooklyn pick top 5 protected (reverts to the Cleveland pick and an extra 2nd at that point) a 2nd and Osman and I think it makes sense for both teams, if OKC feels like they need to blow it up. Love would be a great star to put next to Westbrook since they already know each other and he's low maintenance/ seems to be fine as the number 2 guy in the pecking order. Jr has no problem standing in the corner waiting for the ball and Westbrook will love that he shoots it no matter what (not a knock on JR, it seems like the less open he is the more likely he is to make it haha) getting Westbrook his assist. For as much flack as Shumpert gets on here he's a solid wing player. He's a decent shooter, a good on ball defender, and has an average handle for a sg. He's over paid a bit, but his contract is 10 million and he's probably worth more like 7 or 8. It's not like he's Mozgov and isn't a rotation player while making 18 million. Shumpert is still the same guy who played solid rotation minutes on a championship team 2 years ago (and was the lead defender on Curry quite a bit, while he struggled) and the same guy who was starting 3 years ago when the Cavs beat a 60 win Hawk team with no Love and a severely hobbled Irving in the ECFs and then without Love and Irving took 2 games from the Warriors.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything you said rkenne_16 but 3 years ago is a lot of time. So much can happen in that span that you can't really use that as a reason for Shumpert being good. Just look at Jahlil Okafor, he was the 3rd overall pick in the draft 3 years ago and he can't even crack the Nets rotation on a consistent basis.

I think this would be a perfect trade bc it would benefit both teams bc it would get the Cavs that much closer to the bannana boat. For okc this is perfect offer back the only they would switch crowder for Smith is if they got Brooklyn’s pick bc it doesn’t make any sense at all then to do it bc OKC wants Roberson at the 2 not the 3.
